Comments: Written up in Texas Monthly. Stuffed jalapenos and Crab Florentine are great.

Comments: Entered kolache competition for first time in 2007. Jalapeño pig kolache was named Grand Champion.

Continental Bistro

Comments: Pleasant, dressier casual. Similar to Ruggles in Houston. Great desserts.

On The North Edge of Lake Jackson

At the intersection of Highway 332 and 288 (near Sears, Dillard’s, and Loews) is a large selection of restaurants, including: Luby’s, Chili’s, Red Lobster, Chick-fil-A, KFC, Popeye’s, Mexican, IHOP, McDonald’s, Whataburger, Chinese, pizza, etc.

Comments: Steaks are only o.k. But, it’s a nice budget buffet.
