If you have a church retreat or study group planned, Surfside Beach (near Houston and just down the coast from Galveston, Texas) has two houses that may be perfect. The beach front Texas Star and Texas Giant are large, fully furnished houses that can be the perfect retreat center to hold your church meetings, supervised youth groups, and study groups. You will be near Galveston and Houston, but your retreat will be at the beach, and your members will be far away from their daily routines.

Texas Giant – Located on the beach front at Surfside Beach, this is one of the nicest, really spacious houses on the Gulf Coast. The Texas Giant can comfortable sleep up to 28 people*.

Texas Star – Located on the beach front at Surfside Beach. The Texas Star is newly remodeled, has a living room with a soaring ceiling, and comfortably sleeps up to 22 people*.

* These are large, very nice houses. Because of this, we rent to family, church or business groups only. We do not rent for parties. If our houses are being abused, or used by more than the stated sleeping capacity, you may be evicted without a refund.

If you would like several houses that are near each other:

-- The Texas Star and Texas Giant, plus the 5-bedroom Sand Dollar, 4-bedroom Sand Castle, and 2-bedroom Sea View and Sea Angel are clustered within a few hundred feet of each other on Surfside’s East Beach. This is an attractive part of the beach and can make it very convenient if you wish to have other members of your family, friends, or church group relaxing at the beach with you. If your group is not quite as large:

-- The Sand Castle, Sea Castle, Buccaneer, and Captain’s Quarters each have four bedrooms and three baths, and can accommodate fourteen to sixteen guests.

-- The Sand Dollar has five bedrooms and three baths, and can accommodate up to eighteen guests.

-- The following houses are next to each other and when rented together provide two living areas, four to six bedrooms, and can accommodate the following number of guests:
